About Juslyn Vineyards
Juslyn Vineyards was founded in 1997 by Perry and Carolyn Butler, British expatriates who sold their technology company and purchased 42 acres overlooking Spring Mountain Winery in Napa Valley's Mayacamas range, releasing their first commercial vintage in 1998. The hillside property has deep viticultural roots: grapevines were originally planted there in the late 1800s, when the land was owned by Charles Krug Winery.
Winemaker Craig MacLean has made every Juslyn vintage since inception, working with vineyard manager Oscar Renteria on the estate's Spring Mountain District fruit; Stephanie DeMasi joined as General Manager in 2003 and later became a partner. Annual production runs roughly 1,200-1,300 cases, anchored by a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant estate blend (with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot) alongside Perry's Blend, a Rosé of Cabernet Sauvignon, and a limited charitable bottling called Rescue.
