About Kelleher Family Vineyard
Don and Donna Kelleher, previously partners in Oakville Ranch Vineyards during the 1980s, bought a 16-acre property just north of Yountville on Highway 29 in the early 1990s. They planted a 10-acre estate Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard in 1995 and opened Brix, an on-site restaurant, the same year, pairing their wine program with the restaurant's kitchen and gardens from the start.
Founding winemaker Craig Becker managed the vineyard and wines from 2003 until his death in 2024, focused on the estate Brix Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon alongside small-lot Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé, and Pinot Noir sourced from partner vineyards in Napa and Sonoma. Production stays under 1,000 cases a year, and tastings are held outdoors in the gardens behind Brix restaurant, overlooking the vineyard.
