Juslyn Vineyards is named from the combined names of founders Justin and Lynne Studer — Just(in) + (Ly)n = Juslyn, a portmanteau that declares the founding partnership as the estate's permanent identity. Two people's names fused into one word, inseparable, placed on every bottle of Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Spring Mountain estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon from volcanic and sedimentary mountain soils at high elevation where the diurnal temperature swings and ancient volcanic substrate create wines of unusual mineral concentration and structural elevation. Spring Mountain Cabernet at its finest is among Napa Valley's most age-worthy — not wines that perform immediately but wines that reveal themselves over years and decades.
