About Kieu Hoang Winery
Kieu Hoang purchased this Carneros hospitality center in June 2014 from Michael Mondavi Family Estate, on a property earlier owned by Carneros winemaking pioneer Francis Mahoney's Mahoney Vineyards. Hoang redesigned the tasting room with architect Howard Backen and, for a time, ran a companion restaurant and wine lounge, Q Sushi & Kieu Hoang Wine Lounge, in Westlake Village.
As of this writing, the Kieu Hoang Winery tasting room appears to be closed, and the Carneros property has since operated under the name Ru Vango Winery. Anyone interested in visiting or in current wines should confirm the property's status and offerings directly.
