About Kongsgaard Wine
Kongsgaard Wine is a Napa Valley wine producer, established in 1996. John Kongsgaard's 1996 Napa Valley Chardonnay and Cab. Kongsgaard Wine is John Kongsgaard's personal label, his Norwegian-heritage family surname placed on wines that represent four decades of accumulated Napa Valley winemaking knowledge.
John Kongsgaard spent two decades as winemaker at Newton Vineyard before establishing his own label, his surname becoming one of the most recognized in California fine wine circles. The flagship wine, The flagship wine, The Judge Chardonnay, is named for John's father, Napa Valley judge and rancher whose Carneros farm provides fruit for the estate's most celebrated white wine.
We have not found a published schedule for routine public tasting at Kongsgaard Wine. The wines are sold direct or through the trade, and any visit would be by arrangement, so contact the producer before planning one.
