Lenné Estate

Lenné Estate farms a steep, stingy hillside of Peavine soils outside Yamhill that founder Steve Lutz calls beautifully brutal, producing low yields of intensely concentrated Pinot Noir. The architecturally striking tasting room overlooks the vines and has become one of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA's most photographed settings. The estate is the work of Steve Lutz, who bet on a famously stingy, steep Yamhill-Carlton hillside of sedimentary Peavine soils, ground so hard-won the wines earned their concentrated, savory reputation from struggle.

Flights emphasize the estate's distinctive clonal bottlings, letting visitors taste how a single challenging site expresses itself across different selections of Pinot Noir. It is a terroir-lover's stop with views that rival the wines.
