About Maison Jussiaume
Maison Jussiaume is the personal sparkling wine label of Jean-Michel Jussiaume, a Loire Valley native who grew up farming Muscadet in France before migrating to Southern Oregon to make wines at Del Rio Vineyards. Founded in 2005, Maison Jussiaume produces extremely limited handcrafted sparkling wines using the rigorous traditional Champenoise method — the same centuries-old technique used in Champagne. The Brut Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% old-vine Chardonnay sourced from the Del Rio estate vineyard, with elevations ranging from 700 to 1,700 feet and alluvial soils that deliver exceptional natural acidity. Each vintage is aged on lees for extended periods, resulting in sparkling wines of remarkable finesse and complexity. The portfolio includes a Brut Blanc de Blancs, an Oeil de Perdrix Rosé (Chardonnay-Pinot Noir), and the zero-dosage Brut Nature — the purest expression of Rogue Valley terroir. Maison Jussiaume has earned 90–99 point scores, Double Gold, Best in Class, and Best in Show awards, with Wine Enthusiast awarding 91 points to the 2017 Brut Blanc de Blancs.
