About Long Meadow Ranch Tasting Room at Farmstead

Long Meadow Ranch's most accessible wine experience is located at Farmstead in St. Helena, a multi-part property that combines a tasting room, restaurant, café, gardens and a broader agricultural story. The winery also has mountain and vineyard holdings beyond this address, but ordinary visitors should navigate to 738 Main Street unless a private reservation provides different directions.

The tasting program introduces wines from Long Meadow Ranch's Napa Valley and Anderson Valley estates. Depending on the selected flight, guests may compare mountain, Rutherford and cool-climate vineyard sources or reserve a food-focused experience that connects the wines to ingredients from the ranch and farm. The portfolio can include Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and other varieties. Current wines and pairings change, so the live reservation page should control the exact menu.

The Long Meadow Ranch tasting room is currently open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Farmstead Restaurant and the café keep different hours, and a restaurant reservation does not reserve a wine tasting. Guests planning both should schedule each component deliberately.

This property is especially useful for groups with mixed priorities because one traveler can focus on wine while another values a full meal or the farm setting. It can also anchor a slower afternoon without requiring additional driving. Private mountain-estate excursions are a different experience and should not be implied by the public St. Helena profile. Confirm the address, duration and transportation details whenever booking something beyond the Farmstead tasting room.

A 19th-century land grant reborn, the Mayacamas Estate traces to an 1872 grant given to Civil War veteran E.J. Church, abandoned during Prohibition and swallowed by forest before the Halls found it in 1989.
Wine is just one part of the farm,Long Meadow Ranch raises grass-fed cattle, keeps bees, presses some of Napa's oldest olive groves for oil, and grows heirloom produce alongside its Cabernet Sauvignon.
A winery built from its own excavation, the rammed-earth winery building was constructed largely from dirt dug out to create the estate's wine caves, making it one of the largest structures of its kind in North America.
"Wino Notion likes that Long Meadow Ranch can turn a tasting into a broader farm-and-food stop. The St. Helena location is practical for groups, while the distinct restaurant, café and tasting programs let visitors choose the depth that fits their day."
