About MacRostie Estate House

MacRostie Estate House is one of the most beautiful and experientially complete winery destinations in the Russian River Valley. The 17-acre Westside Road estate, featuring sweeping 270-degree views of the RRV corridor, an infinity pool terrace, bocce courts, and production caves, combines architectural beauty, polished hospitality, and the genuine excellence of Steve MacRostie's wine program.

Steve MacRostie began his winemaking career in 1974 and founded his label in 1987, establishing a deep focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley's finest vineyard sites. The Wildcat Mountain Vineyard on Westside Road, the estate's home block, produces the most personal and celebrated MacRostie expression; Dutton Ranch and other landmark RRV sources complete the single-vineyard program.

The tasting experience matches the setting's ambition: seated cave tastings, terrace experiences with local artisan food pairings, and the infinity pool terrace overlooking the vine rows that produced what's in your glass. MacRostie is the rare winery where the hospitality program and the wine program are equally exceptional.
