Steve MacRostie began his winemaking career in 1974 and founded his label in 1987, establishing a deep focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley's finest vineyard sites. The Wildcat Mountain Vineyard on Westside Road — the estate's home block — produces the most personal and celebrated MacRostie expression; Dutton Ranch and other landmark RRV sources complete the single-vineyard program.
