About Meridian Vineyards
Meridian Vineyards takes its name from the meridian line — the imaginary line of longitude that locates a specific point on the earth with geographic precision. The name declares Paso Robles' specific location on the California wine map: this is where we are, exactly, and these wines express that exact location.
Established in 1988, Meridian is among Paso Robles' most historically founding large-production estates, helping establish the appellation's national profile before Paso Robles had attracted the critical attention it receives today. The Highway 46 East winery has operated as both production facility and visitor destination for more than three decades, making it one of the appellation's most visited wine experiences.
The Meridian wine program produces Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Pinot Noir from Central Coast vineyard sources at price points that welcome wine lovers who are discovering the appellation for the first time. Wine Spectator consistently scores Meridian's Central Coast wines at 87–91 points.
