About Museion Winery
Museion Napa was founded in 2021 by siblings Marcela and Jorge Hernandez, whose mother Ana came to Napa Valley in 1996 to study at the Culinary Institute of America. The family acquired a 125,000-square-foot former beverage-bottling building at 965 North Silverado Trail in Calistoga in late 2020, a site with roots back to 1924, when Giuseppe Musante discovered a hot-springs geyser there while drilling for water, and converted it into their winery and custom-crush facility.
Museion operates as a state-of-the-art custom-crush winery, with an optical sorter, a large Europress, and tanks ranging from 3 to 15 tons, with winemaking overseen by Atelier Melka. Estate releases include a Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, a Carneros Rosé of Pinot Noir, a Charbono from Calistoga's Frediani Vineyard, and Vermuse, a house-made sweet vermouth blended from 13 botanicals; the family also produces a separate Ezeta label.
