About ONEHOPE Wine
ONEHOPE Wine was founded in 2007 by Jake Kloberdanz and a group of colleagues who left E&J Gallo Winery to build a wine company organized around charitable giving. The company's flagship winery and tasting facility opened in 2021 in Rutherford, a specific Napa Valley sub-appellation, in a building designed by architect Howard Backen.
ONEHOPE describes itself as a 'social enterprise,' directing proceeds through the OneHope Foundation, which reports raising more than $10 million to date, toward causes including childhood cancer, clean water, and education. Winemaking is led by Isadora Frias, and in 2023 the company announced a winemaking partnership with Philippe Melka's Atelier Melka.
