About Orin Swift Cellars
Orin Swift Cellars is a Napa Valley winery in St. Helena, founded in 2000. Named for his parents, not a place, Orin is Dave Phinney's father's middle name and Swift his mother's maiden name, a personal touch unusual among Napa Valley winery names. The Prisoner outgrew its own winery, Phinney's flagship blend became so successful that he sold just that label to Huneeus Vintners in 2010, keeping Orin Swift's other wines for himself.
Every label is his own design, Phinney personally creates the bold artwork on every Orin Swift bottle, drawing on the punk and skateboarding scenes he grew up around in 1980s Los Angeles.
Published hours are Daily 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, reservations are recommended, tasting starts at $40. Hours, fees and reservation policies change, so confirm the current details with the winery before you go.
