About Papapietro Perry Winery

Papapietro Perry Winery is one of Sonoma County's most beloved and consistent small-lot Pinot Noir producers. The story begins in a garage, founding friends Ben Papapietro, Bruce Perry, Renae Perry, and Yolanda Papapietro started with 'good friends, some old equipment, great enthusiasm, a burning passion for wine and a lot of humor,' building their winery one vintage at a time before establishing the Dry Creek Road tasting room that has become one of the valley's finest patio destinations.

Executive Winemaker Ben Papapietro has built a lineup of nine distinct single-vineyard Pinot Noirs, from Russian River Valley, Anderson Valley, and Dry Creek Valley sources, that have earned the winery consistent critical acclaim and recognition as Best Red Wine in Sonoma County by the Press Democrat Readers' Choice Awards. The single-vineyard approach means every wine tells the story of a specific place: Papapietro Perry's Pinot lineup is as geographically educational as it is delicious.

The extended patio tasting experience overlooks the iconic Dry Creek Valley with optional charcuterie boards and curated Volo Chocolate pairings, making Papapietro Perry one of the most complete and satisfying afternoon wine destinations in the Healdsburg area. The Russian River Valley Winegrowers specifically highlight the 'lineup of nine distinct Pinot Noirs, alongside Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and Rosé' as a mark of genuine breadth and commitment.
