About Quilceda Creek Vintners
Quilceda Creek is one of Washington State's most revered wineries, dedicated exclusively to the production of world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded in 1978 by Alex and Jeannette Golitzin, it was the state's twelfth bonded winery after Prohibition, and Alex drew early guidance from his uncle, the legendary California winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff.
Now led by second-generation winemaker Paul Golitzin, the winery has produced an extraordinary, unbroken string of highly rated vintages, including multiple perfect 100-point scores, that established Quilceda Creek as Washington's benchmark Cabernet producer. The wines are sourced from elite Columbia Valley sites, including the historic Champoux Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills, in which the winery became a partner in 1997.
The winery in Snohomish is a working production facility rather than a walk-in tasting room; access is generally reserved for private members and scheduled experiences. Collectors prize these age-worthy, polished, deeply structured Cabernets among the finest made in North America.
