About Ridge Vineyards

Ridge Vineyards is one of California's most iconic and influential wineries, and its Lytton Springs estate is the Sonoma home of that legacy, set on the benchland between Dry Creek and Alexander valleys just north of Healdsburg. Ridge's reputation was built by legendary winemaker Paul Draper on a philosophy of single-vineyard, minimal-intervention winemaking that lets old vines and terroir speak.

The estate's field-blended vines, some more than a century old, produce Lytton Springs, a benchmark, ageworthy Dry Creek Zinfandel blend with Petite Sirah, Carignane and more that ranked as Wine Spectator's #3 Wine of the Year in 2025. Ridge produces dozens of Zinfandel and field-blend bottlings, including the celebrated Geyserville, alongside Chardonnay and Bordeaux-style reds.

The winery itself is a model of sustainability, built of compacted rice-straw bales with clay walls, and its tasting room looks out over the old vines. It's open seven days a week for tastings, tours and food pairings, with walk-ins and reservations both welcome, a must-visit for any lover of Zinfandel.
