About Saintsbury
Saintsbury is a Carneros winery known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from its home region and selected vineyard partners beyond Napa. The visitor experience is intentionally small and appointment-led, with the setting shifting between English-style gardens near the Home Vineyard and indoor tasting spaces when weather requires.
The current Garden Tasting is approximately 75 minutes and costs $65 per person. It includes four current releases and one Cellarbook Pinot Noir, with a dedicated host discussing the winery's history, growers and approach to site expression. When operations allow, the visit may include a guided look at the working winery and cellar, but that walkthrough should not be guaranteed on every appointment.
Reservations are required, with appointment times generally offered from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Groups larger than six must contact the winery directly. Picnics are not allowed. Guests should confirm age, pet and accessibility policies before booking and should plan for outdoor conditions when assigned to the garden.
Saintsbury is a strong Carneros choice for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay drinkers who prefer a focused, conversational tasting over a large public room. Experience names, pricing, included wines, food, age rules, pet access, group limits and operating days can change.
