About Terra Blanca Winery
Keith Pilgrim, who grew up in Napa Valley running through the caves at Beringer and later trained as a geologist and viticulture student at UC Davis, and his wife ReNae founded Terra Blanca in 1992, not in Napa Valley but on 300 arid acres of Washington State's Red Mountain. Keith cleared the rattlesnake-infested sagebrush land by hand, drilling wells and planting vines, while ReNae drove in from Redmond, Washington most weekends to help build the vineyard from scratch.
