The Wine Foundry takes its name from the foundry — the workshop where metals are melted and cast into new forms, the place of transformation through heat and pressure. Applied to winemaking, the foundry philosophy declares the winery as a place of elemental transformation: grapes entering, wine emerging, the raw material subjected to the precise conditions that create the final form. The Napa Airport Boulevard facility combines a custom crush operation serving small boutique brands with an estate wine program producing Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley vineyard sources.
