About Vina Robles
Vina Robles is Paso Robles with a Swiss accent. Founders Hans Nef and Hans R. Michel came to the Central Coast from Switzerland in the 1990s, planted estate vineyards across the east side, and built a winery whose motto, European inspiration and California character, still describes the wines accurately.
The Hospitality Center at 3700 Mill Road, just off Highway 46 East in the Huerhuero district, is one of the region's most handsome tasting destinations: a mission-modern hall of stone, timber, and glass with fireplaces indoors, terraces outdoors, and estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah leading the lineup.
What makes the property unique in Paso is next door: the Vina Robles Amphitheatre, a 3,300-seat open-air venue the winery operates each summer and fall. National touring acts play among the vines, and a concert here paired with a pre-show tasting is one of the region's signature evenings.
Day to day, the tasting room pours daily flights of the estate wines, the patio regularly hosts live music, and the kitchen supports food pairings, making this an easy, polished anchor stop on an east-side wine day.
Swiss precision, Paso fruit, and a 3,300-seat amphitheatre among the vines.
