About Villa San-Juliette Vineyard & Winery
Villa San-Juliette Vineyard & Winery is named for Saint Juliette, the patron saint invoked for the land on which the estate is built in the San Miguel District, the northern end of the Paso Robles appellation. The Italian-style villa name declares the estate's aesthetic ambition: a wine property with European elegance transplanted to the rugged northern Paso Robles hills.
The estate is owned by Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick, the television producers best known as creators and producers of American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. The winery represents their passion project in California wine country, developed over the years since they first acquired the San Miguel District property.
The Cross Canyons Road estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, and Petite Sirah from elevated hillside vineyards in the warmest, most sun-exposed corner of the Paso Robles appellation, where diurnal temperature swings are extreme and fruit concentration is high.
