About Wrights Station Vineyard & Winery
Wrights Station Winery takes its name from the vanished Southern Pacific railroad stop that once connected these mountains, and it's built for gathering the way a depot was: a destination for friends and family halfway between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz off the summit, with a tasting room and outdoor patio both overlooking the six-acre estate vineyard and the ranges beyond.
The estate grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, joined by additional varietals sourced from neighboring Santa Cruz Mountains vineyards, all handcrafted onsite. The calendar keeps the depot spirit alive - Friday Night Vineyard Lights with food trucks and vineyard views, oyster weekends with a shucker on site, and Cellar Door tastings down among the barrels with pizza and case sales.
Doors open Friday through Sunday, 12 to 5, and the welcome is genuinely broad: walk-ins accepted (reservations recommended via Tock), charcuterie available or bring your own food for the view, kids and well-behaved dogs explicitly invited, and a reservable large table plus a semi-private space for groups and occasions.
