About Auteur Wines
Auteur Wines is one of Sonoma Valley's most intellectually rigorous and Burgundy-influenced small producers. Founded in 2006 by Kenneth Juhasz, the winery is built around a single mission: produce single-vineyard Pinot Noirs from Sonoma's finest sites that express place above all else, in the tradition of the great Burgundian domaines where the vineyard, not the winemaker, is the star.
Juhasz sources from some of Sonoma County's most prestigious vineyard sites, including Platt Vineyard, Three Sticks, and others, approaching each with the same site-specific care that a Burgundy vigneron brings to their individual parcels. The wines are and among the most cerebral and food-compatible Pinot Noirs made in California.
