About Beau Vigne
Beau Vigne takes its name from the French for 'beautiful vine' — the declaration that wine quality begins with the quality of the vine itself, its health, its age, its relationship with the soil and microclimate that shape every cluster it produces. Susan Pey's Napa Valley project is built entirely on this premise: source the best possible fruit from the most beautifully maintained vines, and let that quality carry through to the bottle with minimal intervention.
The Yountville-based estate produces Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from carefully selected vineyard sources across multiple Napa Valley appellations, with a winemaking approach that prioritizes transparency of site character over stylistic imposition. The beautiful vine is the starting point; everything that follows is in service of letting that beauty express itself.
Wine Advocate has scored Beau Vigne's Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon at 91–95 points, recognizing both the quality of Susan Pey's vineyard sourcing and the clarity of her winemaking approach.
