About Bella Luna Estate Winery
Bella Luna is a small, family-owned Templeton winery started by two lifelong friends, Sherman Smoot and Kevin Healey, whose local roots run deep in the area's farming and aviation lore. The estate focuses on small-lot reds, with Italian varieties and estate Sangiovese among the signatures alongside Bordeaux bottlings.
Production stays intentionally tiny and hands-on, with tastings that often come straight from the founders' circle and a loyal club absorbing much of each vintage. It is Templeton at its most personal: two friends, one small vineyard, and wines made the unhurried way.
