About Brandon Gregory Estate
Brandon Gregory Estate was established in 2019 by wine collectors who purchased 621 acres in Knights Valley and set about assembling a small portfolio of vineyards. Brookshire, a 40-acre site on volcanic soils, came first in 2019; the 2.5-acre Dean York vineyard in St. Helena followed in 2020; and the 22-acre Helena Vista vineyard was planted from scratch in 2022 with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Syrah.
Winemaker Julien Fayard crafts the wines in genuinely small lots: the 2022 releases run to 149 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon, 59 of Merlot and 119 of Illation, a 75/25 Cabernet Sauvignon to Cabernet Franc blend, alongside 634 cases of 2024 Sauvignon Blanc. There is no tasting room; the wines move through allocation requests and a membership program built around estate shipments and member-only events.
The estate's entire 2022 red-wine release, Cabernet, Merlot and the Illation blend, totals fewer than 350 cases.
