About Brian Arden Wines
Brian Arden Wines was the Harlan family’s boutique Calistoga project, father Arden “Burt” Harlan and winemaker son Brian Harlan, whose combined first names gave the winery its name. Their 2.25-acre property at the base of the Palisades handled its first harvest in 2014, opened its hospitality space in 2015, and kept production under about 2,500 cases. Family wine roots ran deep: a Kelseyville Zinfandel vineyard with vines from the mid-1880s, purchased by the family in 1961.
In early 2025 the property was reportedly sold to neighboring Aubert Wines, and the tasting room closed permanently. The winery’s website remains online but is not accepting tasting bookings. We retain this profile for reference.
