About Casa Larga Vineyards
Casa Larga Vineyards is a Rochester-area landmark founded by Italian immigrant Andrew Colaruotolo, who planted vines on a Fairport hilltop in 1974 in the tradition of his family's vineyards outside Rome. The winery is one of the anchors of the Lake Ontario wine trail and famous for its Fiori ice wines.
The Italianate estate hosts festivals, weddings, and one of upstate New York's best-known ice wine harvests each winter. It is a proud family story poured by the founder's children and grandchildren to this day.
