About Catharine Valley Winery
About Catharine Valley Winery
Catharine Valley Winery sits on Route 414 in Burdett, on the eastern side of Seneca Lake between Hector and Watkins Glen. It is a small operation on a stretch of road that carries a good number of the lake's better known names.
The winery is a former member of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and continues to operate independently of it. As with many of the smaller producers on this side of the lake, the scale is modest and the welcome is direct.
Visiting
Hours run roughly 11am to 5pm, with the tasting room closed midweek on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Because this is a small operation with seasonal variation, call ahead on (607) 546-5300 before making a special trip.
Catharine Valley Winery is a member of the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail, which links wineries from Victor down through Canandaigua to Naples.
