About Écluse Wines
Ecluse is the estate label of Steve and Pam Lock, and the name is a bilingual wink: ecluse is French for a canal lock, a nod to the family surname. From their Lock Vineyard estate in the rolling hills of west Paso Robles, the Locks produce small-lot Rhone and Bordeaux reds along with Zinfandel and Chardonnay.
The wines built a steady record in regional and national competitions, and tastings at the intimate estate keep the experience personal, frequently with a Lock pouring.
