About Fenton Herriott Vineyards

Fenton Herriott Vineyards was a small family estate winery in the Apple Hill area of Placerville, in the Sierra Foothills of El Dorado County, at 120 Jacquier Court. Long listed among El Dorado's tasting stops, it grew estate fruit at about 2,300 feet and became known for varieties such as Syrah, Barbera and Chardonnay, a picnic area, bocce courts and a pet-friendly, laid-back atmosphere.

The Fenton Herriott label has since concluded and the property has transitioned. Docmanov Vineyards & Winery, run by Miodrag Docmanov, now operates at the same 120 Jacquier Court location, growing estate Gewurztraminer, Barbera, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese and pouring award-winning El Dorado County wines.
