About Helvetia Vineyards
Helvetia Vineyards and Winery occupies a historic 1880s farmstead in the rolling hills of the Helvetia countryside north of Hillsboro, one of the closest true estate wineries to Portland. The small family operation produces estate Pinot Noir and white wines from vines surrounding the original pioneer farmhouse.
Tastings on the farmhouse porch overlooking the vines feel like stepping back a century, and the pastoral setting draws cyclists and day-trippers from the city on sunny weekends. It is a peaceful, history-rich alternative to the busier tasting rooms deeper in wine country.
