About Kobler Estate Winery
Kobler Estate Winery is the German-heritage family estate of the Kobler family — their surname placed directly on a Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay program that reflects the family's personal commitment to one specific stretch of Glen Ellen's Warm Springs Road wine corridor. The Kobler name carries its own German wine tradition (Germany's wine regions have their own Kobler-derived place names) applied to California's most visitor-friendly wine country.
The Warm Springs Road estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and estate blends from Sonoma Valley vineyards with the walk-in accessibility and family-welcoming character that direct-surname family estates at their best exemplify. The Sonoma Valley's warm, sheltered growing environment — the mountain ranges on both sides moderating the temperature and creating a longer, drier growing season than the Sonoma Coast — produces Cabernet of generous ripeness and Chardonnay of warm-valley fullness.
The daily walk-in experience is dog-friendly, picnic-welcoming, and family-hospitable.
