Locals Tasting Room is one of the most genuinely generous wine experiences in California. Located in the charming wine country town of Geyserville, Locals offers free tasting from 10 different small boutique Sonoma County producers — no reservation required, no tasting fee, just walk in and discover.
The concept was founded in 2000 by a collective of small producers who wanted to reach visitors who might never find their individual tasting rooms. The result is one of the most effective wine discovery experiences in Sonoma County — visitors consistently report finding new favorite producers they never would have encountered otherwise.
Geyserville itself has become a genuine destination beyond just Locals — Diavola Pizzeria, the Geyserville Gun Club bar, and Thumbprint Cellars make it one of the most interesting small wine country towns to explore. Locals serves as the perfect introduction before or after a meal at any of the town's excellent options.
