About McHenry Vineyard
McHenry is one of the Santa Cruz Mountains' smallest and most academic cellars: founded by UC chancellor Dean McHenry and family, whose tiny Bonny Doon-area Pinot Noir vineyard, planted in the early 1970s, produced scholar-scaled quantities of estate Pinot for decades, a family label in the truest sense.
Production remains minute and old-school, sold largely to a loyal list that treasures the continuity. A professor's plot, faithfully farmed.
