Melanson Vineyard

Melanson Vineyard is a Napa Valley wine producer, established in 2008. A 10.5-acre Pritchard Hill Cabernet vineyard whose fruit appears under its own label and in vineyard-designate wines from TOR and Castello di Amorosa. 42-acre estate with 10.5 planted acres at about 1,200 feet elevation, above the valley fog line.

Planted exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon, Clones 7 and 337, chosen for the site's volcanic Sobrante loam soils. Grapes and finished wine appear under the Melanson name and as a named vineyard source for other Napa producers, including TOR Wines and Castello di Amorosa.

We have not found a published schedule for routine public tasting at Melanson Vineyard. The wines are sold direct or through the trade, and any visit would be by arrangement, so contact the producer before planning one.
