About Mill Creek Vineyards & Winery
Mill Creek Vineyards & Winery is named for the creek running through the Westside Road estate — the Mill Creek, named for the historic grist mill that once operated on its banks, the agricultural infrastructure that preceded the vineyard in this specific corner of Dry Creek Valley. The Kreck family has been farming the Mill Creek estate since 1974, placing them among Dry Creek Valley's founding generation of modern wine producers.
The Westside Road estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc from estate Dry Creek Valley vineyard blocks with the creek-topographic directness the naming implies. Five decades of continuous Kreck family farming on the Mill Creek estate have built the accumulated soil knowledge that their consistent wine quality reflects.
