About Migration, Healdsburg Tasting Room
Migration is the cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay specialist brand of the Duckhorn Portfolio, one of California's most respected wine families, better known for Napa Merlot and Cabernet through the flagship Duckhorn label. Migration was created specifically to explore the finest single-vineyard sites along the Pacific Coast from the Russian River Valley south to the Sta. Rita Hills.
The Healdsburg tasting room, Sonoma County Tourism's listing describes it as offering 'seated tastings of site-driven Pinot Noirs with panoramic vineyard views from our modern Healdsburg tasting room, just two miles from the Square on scenic Westside Road', is a purpose-built space designed specifically to showcase the Migration wine program in a setting appropriate to its cool-climate ambitions.
The single-vineyard program includes wines from Alder Springs, Dierberg, Dutton Ranch, and other respected California Pinot Noir sites, making Migration one of the most geographically comprehensive and educationally interesting tasting experiences available near the Healdsburg Plaza.
Brand update: As of 2025, the Duckhorn Portfolio, now owned by Butterfly Equity, began winding down the Migration label. Existing bottlings may still be available while stocks last; check the producer for current status.
At its Healdsburg, Sonoma County location, Migration, Healdsburg Tasting Room presents a featured lineup that includes Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Alder Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir, Dutton Ranch Chardonnay, and Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
