About Mumm Napa
Mumm Napa provides a sparkling-wine-focused experience on the Silverado Trail in Rutherford. The visitor center looks across vineyards toward the Mayacamas Mountains, giving the property a scenic setting while keeping the hospitality approachable. Guests can choose indoor climate-controlled seating, an outdoor patio or selected seasonal spaces among the vines.
The core Sip & Sparkle experience is a 60-minute flight that introduces several sparkling styles. Additional reservations add a blind-tasting challenge, a heritage-focused flight, a seasonal vineyard setting or a private tour. Small bites, zero-proof beverages and wines by the glass may be available, but outside food is not permitted. The broad experience list makes Mumm useful for both first-time sparkling drinkers and guests who want a more educational comparison.
All members of the party must be 21 or older, including infants and children. Pets have not been permitted since the winery's current policy change; only legitimate service animals may enter. Reservations are strongly recommended, and some experiences require them. Walk-ins or same-day bookings may be possible when staffing and tables allow, but the winery does not guarantee seating. Standard daily tastings generally cap the party at eight guests.
Mumm Napa is a practical stop for celebrations, groups of adults and travelers who want a lighter style of wine between Cabernet appointments. The later closing time can also make it useful near the end of a Silverado Trail day. Visitors should choose indoor or outdoor seating based on weather and review the exact flight, because prices, number of wines and group limits differ. The seasonal Vineside experience is not available year-round and should not be treated as a permanent daily option.
