About Night Wines
Night Wines takes the usual Napa Valley tasting script and flips the clock. This boutique St. Helena producer, founded by Heidi Bamburg and winemaker Scott Mangelson, pours its wines inside The Saint, a wine lounge set in a historic stone bank building on Main Street in downtown St. Helena. Tastings unfold by candlelight among chandeliers and velvet couches, with a speakeasy-style vault room at the heart of the experience - a deliberate embrace of mystery and romance that the brand sums up in its motto about leaving the night to chance.
The wines lean into serious Napa Valley fruit: Cabernet Sauvignon drawn from Spring Mountain and Mt. Veeder hillsides, alongside a crisp Chardonnay from Carneros. Production stays small and the lineup is poured in seated experiences that range from a lounge tasting at the Main Street bar to the immersive NIGHTFALL experience, plus periodic winemaker lunches and dinners pairing multiple courses with the wines.
Because the tasting room lives inside a working wine lounge, Night Wines is one of the rare Napa Valley producers you can visit in the evening - most valley tasting rooms close by 5pm. Reservations are recommended for seated experiences, and the NIGHT Club wine club offers three shipments per year with member pricing.
