About Panek Vineyards
Panek Vineyards was founded in 2000 when Cindy and Jim Panek, who met at the University of Michigan, purchased a small vineyard just north of St. Helena and replanted it. For years the family sold fruit to other Napa Valley producers before launching their own label in 2017, when son Nathan joined the business as a partner handling marketing and hospitality.
The estate, located at 3440 St Helena Highway North in the St. Helena appellation, produces two wines, an estate Cabernet Sauvignon and an estate Sauvignon Blanc, made by acclaimed winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, known for multiple 100-point scores and Food & Wine's 2010 Winemaker of the Year honor. The vineyard also continues to supply grapes to other well-regarded Napa Valley wineries.
