About Perrucci Family Vineyard
Perrucci Family Vineyard runs on a simple philosophy: quality wines, fairly priced, a pleasure to drink. The Los Gatos family is hands-on through every step - vineyard, harvest, crush, aging, bottling - applying modern agricultural practice to Santa Cruz Mountains fruit, and the recent vintages have collected numerous awards and medals for the effort.
Production is deliberately limited - passion before profit, in the family's words - and so is the wine club, whose members get first taste of releases before they sell out, free tastings, priority on events, and invitations to the club-exclusive gatherings that fill most of the calendar. The online wine store handles direct purchases for everyone else.
There's no formal tasting room, but the winery on Kennedy Road welcomes visitors the personal way: reservation-only tastings with the winemaker, starting at $20 per person for a four-wine, one-hour flight - waived with the purchase of three bottles. Groups run up to 20, the property is 21-and-over with no pets, and availability tightens from December through March. Call (408) 684-6500 or join the mailing list to catch the public tasting events.
