About Pezzi King
Pezzi King is a Dry Creek Valley winery devoted, above all, to Zinfandel, a grape the region grows about as well as anywhere in America. Originally built by Jim Rowe on the reputation of its estate Zinfandels, the winery is now owned by Ken and Diane Wilson, a family that made its name specializing in Sonoma Zinfandel and runs a number of other small wineries across the county.
Pezzi King fits their philosophy perfectly: small quantities of high-end, handcrafted wine from a scenic 137-acre farm in the hills above Dry Creek, with 65 acres planted to Zinfandel and Cabernet. The lineup is anchored by robust single-vineyard Zinfandels, Row 26, Hunny Hill, Kitchen Hill and more, alongside Cabernet, Petite Sirah, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and blends.
There are two ways to visit: a walk-in-friendly tasting room in Healdsburg's Old Roma Station just off the plaza, or scenic private tastings by the pond at the estate, with a guest house for overnight stays.
