About Provenance Vineyards
Provenance Vineyards is a Napa Valley wine producer, established in 1999. The Rutherford building that once housed Provenance Vineyards is now Far Niente's Bella Union winery; the Provenance name lives on under new, Lodi-based ownership. In November 2021, Treasury Wine Estates sold the Rutherford property to Far Niente, which built a new dedicated Bella Union winery there, completed in 2024.
The Provenance Vineyards name and trademark went separately to the Lombardi family's Thomas Allen Vineyards & Winery, headquartered in Lodi, which now operates under the Provenance Vineyards name. The tasting room first opened in 2003 on a Rutherford property that previously housed Chateau Beaucanon Winery; the first Provenance vintage was released in 1999.
We have not found a published schedule for routine public tasting at Provenance Vineyards. The wines are sold direct or through the trade, and any visit would be by arrangement, so contact the producer before planning one.
