About Qutori Wines
Qutori Wines is a family-owned winery and vineyard in Paonia, in the heart of the West Elks at 5,800 feet along the West Elk Scenic Byway and the West Elks Wine Trail. Run by Julie and Richard Bennett with their son Kyle as vintner, the name Qutori means creativity and leadership, the qualities the family aims to bring to both the wine and the business.
The estate Pinot Noir vineyard sits just across the street from the tasting room, which shares space with the Root & Vine Market. The lineup is deliberately slim and focused: an estate Pinot Noir and Rose, a Bourbon-barrel-aged Chardonnay, and a Syrah that took the 2019 Colorado Governor's Cup and best in show at Colorado Uncorked, with fruit drawn from both the West Elks and Grand Valley AVAs. The market rounds out a visit with coffee, pastries, and lunch on a patio overlooking the North Fork Valley.
