Riverview Winery

River View Vineyard and Winery is a small country winery nestled in the scenic Minnesota bluffs above the Mississippi River Valley near La Crescent. Opened to the public in 2011, the winery produces native blends from choice cold-hardy grapes, including reds, whites, and blushes that cater to different palates. The setting is the real draw: perched above the river valley, the property offers views that rank among the most dramatic of any winery in the state, and the experience of tasting wine while looking out over the Mississippi is distinctly different from what the interior wineries can offer. La Crescent is part of the Great River Road Wine Trail, and River View connects naturally with nearby Garvin Heights Vineyards in Winona for a bluff-to-bluff wine day along the Mississippi.
