About Savannah-Chanelle Vineyards
Savannah-Chanelle keeps Saratoga's century vines: the Congress Springs estate farms Zinfandel and Cabernet Franc planted in the 1910s beneath redwood-ringed grounds, historic-vineyard provenance and canyon-mouth romance making the daughters-named winery the mountains' living archive. Tastings pour Thursday through Sunday in the historic barn tasting room - a $35 first-come Portfolio Tasting through the current releases, with a piano player most Saturdays, wines by the glass or bottle on the patio, and the members-only Villa Grounds opening weekend afternoons for Santa Clara Valley views. The winery has publicly affirmed it remains open for years to come, and the redwood drive up Congress Springs is half the visit.
Century-vine provenance and redwood setting built heritage standing. The 1910s still pour.
