About Silver Vines Winery
Silver Vines Winery is a family-owned winery in Olde Town Arvada, founded in 2011 by brothers Jeff and Danny Chayer after years working in the wine industry across Minnesota, Texas, Oregon, and Washington. They chose Olde Town Arvada for its feel and its closeness to Denver, and today Jeff and Kristin Chayer run the winery.
The winery runs a full production facility in Arvada, with tanks, barrels, and equipment, and buys grapes each harvest from Colorado, California, and Washington growers, aging the wines in French oak. The result is a broad, approachable range, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Primitivo, a Rocky Red, and a popular chocolate port, that has earned Double Gold and Gold medals at the New York and San Francisco competitions. The Olde Town tasting room is open daily with cheese platters, a wine club, and live music, and a second tasting room sits on 13th Street in Boulder.
