Sundance Winery is named for the sundance — the ceremonial dance performed by many Native American cultures to honor the sun's power and to ensure the return of the life-giving solar energy that sustains agricultural abundance. Applied to Napa Valley winemaking, the sundance philosophy declares wine as the product of solar energy harvested through the vine: the sun's power danced into the grape, transformed through fermentation into the bottle's concentrated sunlight. The Napa Valley boutique produces Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay from contracted estate vineyard sources.
