About Armida Winery

Armida is the family project of two Cousins brothers and their wives, Steve and Cyndi and Bruce and Susan, who have run the Westside Road winery for decades with a self-deprecating sense of humor about being the "Cou-Zins" behind some of Sonoma County's most fun-loving Zinfandel. The property sits two miles west of downtown Healdsburg with a memorable view over the Russian River Valley.

The winery's most distinctive feature is architectural: three geodesic "Bucky domes" house its operations, an unmistakable landmark among Westside Road's more traditional barns and chateaux. Armida focuses on small-lot Zinfandels from top Sonoma County vineyards alongside Russian River staples, welcoming picnickers at the Healdsburg estate and pouring at a second tasting room in the beach town of Capitola on Monterey Bay.

Wines by the Cou-Zins,the two Cousins brothers and their wives lean happily into the family-name pun while producing serious small-lot Zinfandel from top Sonoma County sites.
Three geodesic domes,Armida's buildings are Buckminster Fuller-style "Bucky domes," one of the most distinctive architectural sights on Healdsburg's Westside Road.
A tasting room at the beach, beyond the Healdsburg estate, Armida pours its wines at a second tasting room in Capitola, the laid-back beach town on Monterey Bay.
